A little bit about Lydia
Lydia A. Franz is a seasoned professional in the commercial
real estate industry, with over two decades of experience as a licensed realtor
in Alabama and Florida. Lydia
specializes in the acquisition, development, utilization, and disposition of
commercial real estate and business opportunities in the Gulf Coast area.
Throughout her career, Lydia has led numerous successful
projects, including office renovations, parking expansions, retail
developments, RV park developments, and residential conservation subdivisions.
Her expertise spans site selection, contract negotiations, permit expediting,
communications management, and loan draw submissions. Lydia has also worked on high-profile projects
such as Tom Thumb C-Store & Car Wash and various retail and fast-food
developments across Gulf Shores, Orange Beach, Daphne, Foley, and Santa Rosa
Beach.
Lydia’s professional experience includes serving as a
Commercial Division Leader from 2008 to 2023 and holding leadership roles such
as Chairman of the Commercial MLS Committee in Baldwin County in 2021. She has also contributed to the
University of South Alabama’s Masters in Real Estate Program as a
Dream Team Panelist and actively participated in fundraising events for the
Children’s Miracle Network.
Her educational background includes completing the
prestigious CCIM designation, with coursework in site selection, resort market
forecasting, and agricultural land brokerage. She also holds certifications in
NRA Range Development and Management and has completed a Real Estate Program at
Faulkner Community College.
Outside of her professional endeavors, Lydia is passionate
about flying small planes, landscape gardening, photography, art, land
development, travel, and recreational marksmanship. Her diverse interests and extensive experience
make her a dynamic and dedicated advisor in the commercial real estate
industry.
